Community oriented Sponsorship :
LPI-Egypt is offering governmental, non-governmental and commercial organizations the possibility of helping promote Linux and/or Open Source and Free Software through the following initiatives :
1. Training Egyptian CS students (TECSS)
2. Training Egyptian IT-Professionals (TEIT)
3. Creating LINUX based, country wide Open Source Events (CLCW)
4. Promoting the communities first vendor independent LINUX Technical Support Center (PLTS)
Enrollment in the TECSS and TEIT programs involves supporting LPIC-1 certification for students/professionals through :
a. Acquiring Kit/Exam packages from LPI-Egypt to be put freely to student candidates
b. Sponsoring LPIC-1 Training
CLCW initiatives involve inviting foreign and internationally recognized FOSS advocates to hold seminars and/or specialized training sessions in Egypt on technically interesting subjects.
The PLTS initiative involves acquring technical support tickets from LPI-Egypt to be put freely in the open source technical database space at www.lpiegypt.org.
Benefits of LPI-Egypts Sponsorship Programs :
- Sponsors LOGOS and company information will be put on www.lpiegypt.org
- Sponsors of TECSS and TEIT programs will be associates in all university campaigns
- Sponsors of CLCW events will be cited on every Panel and/or session in the respective event
- PLTS sponsors will be indicated in LPI-Egypts newspaper ads
In addition to that and according to the amount of sponsorship, all sponsors are eligible to the LPI sponsorship benefits listed in http://www.lpi.org/en/content/view/full/854
